Dear Ms. Liang,
Our guided tour of Beijing
finishes today and my husband
and I wish to thank Barrin,
our Beijing tour guide, our
Beijing driver and your company for what has been the most memorable holiday that we have ever had. Barrin was at the airport to meet us
and proved to be a most diligent, pleasant and informative host throughout the tour. Our driver took us through the heavy Beijing traffic every day and got us to our various places safely.
Sincerely,
Michele Monteil

If this is your first time ski experience in Beijing, you don't know where to go, where to stay, what to wear, or even when to start. Here are tips for you:
1. Little snow in Beijing, why so many ski resorts around Beijing?
In winter Beijing rarely snows, this doesn't discourage local ski enthusiasts who want to go skiing not far from their home. Skiing now has become an important winter passion among the locals. So the man made ski resorts have mushroomed due to the popular ski market in Beijing.
2. Where are these ski resorts located? Please name some of them.
Most of them are located on the mountain slopes in Changping District, Yanqing District, Huairou District, Miyun District and Pinggu District, ranging 60km to 100km from downtown Beijing. There are a dozen of ski resorts in Beijing. Please check out the 10 ski resorts Beijing.
3. Do these ski resorts offer accommodations also?
Except Nanshan Ski Resort which offers nice chalets, most of other ski resorts only provide basic accommodations. If you prefer to stay overnight by the ski resorts, you may use some nice hotels or inns available not far from the ski resorts instead of the accommodations in the resorts.
4. Usually when do these ski resorts start to operate each year?
Most of the Beijing ski resorts begin their ski business aroung mid December and stop service aroung mid February next year. But each ski resort has its own opening time depending its own business system and also largely on the weather each year. So please contact your Beijing ski travel advisors for the newest ski information.
5. How do I get to these ski resorts?
There is no direct public trasport from the downtown Beijing to these ski resorts. So taking taxis from your hotel or on the streets are one of the options. Another option is to rent a car or van up front from a local limo service providers. Check out Beijing Ski Resorts Transfer.
6. Gear (Skis, Boots)
