Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Your hotel in Beijing - Mutianyu Great Wall

Pick up at your hotel at 8:00am. Head to Mutianyu Great Wall. The Mutianyu is less crowded than Badaling Great Wall. There are three ways ( optional ) to head up and down beside hiking on foot. One is the cable car, the second is a slideaway (toboggan) and the third is a chair lift. Having 2-3 hour hiking ay at the Mutianyu Great Wall.


After lunch, drive to Chunhuiyuan Hot Springs Resort for about 2 hours' spa bathing at the hot spings pools. Beijing Chunhuiyuan Hot Springs Resort is situated by the beautiful Wenyu River, north of Shunyi District. It is the compound leisure & healthcare center of Beijing. The hot springs at Chunhuiyuan comes underground deep in 2,300 meters. Chunhuiyuan has the same springhead to the famous Xiaotangshan hot springs, like Jiuhua Spa & Resort. As alkalescence sodium bicarbonate mineral spring, the local hot spring always keeps the water temperature at 60 degrees.


After enjoying the hot spring bath at outdoor public soaking pools, you check in at the front desk of Chunhuiyuan Hot Spring Resort and stay overnight here. Dinner is not included. ( L )

Day 02: Yuyang International Ski Resort - Midtown Hotel in Beijing

After breakfast at the hotel at Chunhuiyuan Hot Spring Resort, today we will bring you to Yuyang International Ski Resort in Pinggu District. It is integration with traveling, restaurant, meeting and holiday that perfectly integrate sport and entertainment, which has international advanced facilities. At present, the ski resort boasts of 11 trails for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers, where the longest one is 3,2000 meters long. It also offers a quadruple chair lift, 12 double chair lifts and for amusement is equipped with snowmobiles and sledges. You will enjoy 3-4 hour ski at the ski resort. After having Chinese lunch, drive back to your hotel in Beijing. ( B L )

1. Mutianyu Great Wall has an extemely beautiful natural landscape once you are up on the wall, green, densely wooded. This section of the Great Wall is comparatively smoother than most of other sections.

2. Mutianyue Great Wall is the only section where you have to do the mountain hike if you are going to climb up the Great Wall since the Mutianyu Great Wall doesn't start from the ground unlike other sections of the Great Wall. So at the Mutianyu Great Wall, you have the chance to enjoy the mountain hike as well as the Great Wall hike.

3. There are 20 towers on the Mutianyu Great Wall snaking the ridge for about 3000 meters. The watch towers at the Mutianyu Great Wall are distributed at short intervals. The 20 watch towers are numbered from right to left, or from east to west. The 20th tower is highest point of the Mutianyu Great Wall. In any Great Wall hike, it is good for your legs to hike up than to hike down. So we suggest you hike the Mutianyu Great Wall from the left to the right - from the east to the west.

4. Do I have a private dressing room to change my clothes before I go to the public hot spring pools for bathing?
No, you have to change your clothes in a big public dressing room. If you feel awkward changing your clothes in the public, please forget the tour.

5.Tell us something about the public hot spring pools.
All the public spring pools are open-air with lots of people, women and men wearing swimming suits bathing. On weekends, you are expecting even more crowds of visitors. So, it's better to avoid the weekends.

6. If you want to travel lightly for your ski trip to Beijing without bringing your own ski clothes, this never causes any problem since all the ski resorts offer ski clothes rental of ski jackets of all sizes with some amount of deposit of RMB 200 per person. Ski clothes closet: RMB 10 Per Person.

7. The quotations above have already included the ski fees for your skis, so you don't want to cram your ski gear all the way to Beijing. All the ski resorts in Beijing offer the ski gear rental service with some amount of deposit of about RMB 200 per person.
