It is a Science and technology museum, an interactive educational center for promotion of science and education. The blend of science and technology is the main theme of Sony ExploraScience. It blends interactive educational exhibits from the Exploratorium in San Francisco with Sony's latest digital technologies to assist young children to experience the attraction of science. Sony ExploraScience is sectioned into four parts composed of "illusion,"- the unique nature of optical illusions can be experienced; "refraction/reflection" - light travels through space to deliver information"; "light/colors" - using spectroscopes and computer processing we can experience how the light we see everyday is made up of various wavelengths and "sounds" - sound is an invisible phenomenon that travels through space". Beijing Planetarium, It is composed of the old planetarium and the new planetarium. The old one has an optical projector and space exhibits. The new planetarium has SGI Digital Space theater, 4D theater, Space Simulator 3D theater, Sun exhibits, ancient Chinese astronomical instruments exhibits, telescope store, etc. All theaters are presented in Chinese. Some exhibits have a few words of English. The SGI Digital Space theater is of the best quality computer generated show. With a 600 seating capacity, the new planetarium has a celestial body showing system which is compased of a large homemade Star Projector and tens of special effect projectors. It is located 138 Xizhimenwai Dajie, Beijing.
After lunch, drive to Beijing Zoo to see the Giant Pandas. Beijing Zoo is located to the west of Beijing City ( 2km west of Xizhimen Subway Station). It has both rare Chinese animals, such as the Giant Panda and the Golden Monkey, and also a wide selection from around the world - from Polar Bears to Kangaroos. Over 6,000 animals of over 500 species are on show. The present place of Beijing Zoo was originally the imperial garden in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Various plants and trees were cultivated and animals were raised here in the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911). After the establishing of the People's Republic of China, the site was renovated and was later well known as the West Suburban Park. In 1955, the name was turned into Beijing Zoo and the range of animals was increased. The visits by the heads of states have brought some of the animals as gifts.
After the tour to Beijing Zoo, walk to the adjacent Beijing Aquarium, a good place to take children. Regarded as "the world's largest inland aquarium", this huge structure gives a close-up view at the teeming life of the world's rivers and oceans. The porpoise performance and fish feeding times in the big tank are not to be missed. It has an Amazon rainforest area, coral reefs, a shark aquarium, whales, dolphins and a marine mammal pavilion. The latter hosts lively aquatic animal displays. Admission: RMB 100, students RMB 60, people over 60 years RMB 60. Two children under 1.2 m admitted free with each adult. It is No 1, Beisanhuan Zhonglu, on northern section of the 3rd Ring Road Beijing. As a nationa-level museum of science and technology, it is an important place of popular science education in China. China Military Museum:
The Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution stands on the north side of the central section of Fuxing Road directly south of the Yuyuantan Park. The museum is composed of two four-story wings and a main building of seven stories topped with the gilded emblem of the Chinese People's Liberation.
China Aviation Museum:
China Aviation Museum is about 40 miles north of Beijing and located in the foot of fascinating Xiao Tang Hill (XiaoTangShan) in Chang Ping County. On November 11, 1989, it was opened to the public in the 40th Anniversary of the Founding of Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

Natioal Flag Raising Ceremony:
The ceremony starts with a team of guards of honour marching out of the Tian'an men and put the flag up on the flag-pole in the northern end of the Tian'an men Square. Usually the ceremony will last about 10 minutes and attracts hundrands or thousands visitors every early morning, especially during such these important days as on May 1 st (International Labour Day), on Oct 1 st (National day), every New year, and China's lunar New Year as well.
Beijing Children's Palace:
Beijing Children's Palace is one of the largest art training centers after school in the country. Many studtents go to the Beijing Children's Palace to learn something different from what they study in school. In past 50 years, over100,000 teenagers have taken extra-curricular classes in Beijing Children's Palace , located in th former royal garden behind Jingshan Park. In Beijing Children's Palace, they learn painting, calligraphy, photography, dancing, singing, football, or other activities.
Beijing Creation Park:
Beijing Amusement Park is located No.1, zuo'an men street Chong Wen district Beijing. To the west of Longtanhu Park in the Chongwen District, Beijing Amusement Park, a Sino-Japanese joint project, blends trendy amusement facilities with garden landscaping. There are about 90,000 trees, 11 bridges, 115,000 square meters of water surface and over 100 rowboats for enjoyment.
Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park:
Shijingshan Amusement Park was first opened in 1986. It is located north of the Bajiaocun subway station,only 15 km far from Tian'anmen. Set up in 1982, China National Children's Center is a non-profit organization for teenagers after-school education at national level. China Military Museum:
The Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution stands on the north side of the central section of Fuxing Road directly south of the Yuyuantan Park. The museum is composed of two four-story wings and a main building of seven stories topped with the gilded emblem of the Chinese People's Liberation.
China Aviation Museum:
China Aviation Museum is about 40 miles north of Beijing and located in the foot of fascinating Xiao Tang Hill (XiaoTangShan) in Chang Ping County. On November 11, 1989, it was opened to the public in the 40th Anniversary of the Founding of Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

Natioal Flag Raising Ceremony:
The ceremony starts with a team of guards of honour marching out of the Tian'an men and put the flag up on the flag-pole in the northern end of the Tian'an men Square. Usually the ceremony will last about 10 minutes and attracts hundrands or thousands visitors every early morning, especially during such these important days as on May 1 st (International Labour Day), on Oct 1 st (National day), every New year, and China's lunar New Year as well.
Beijing Children's Palace:
Beijing Children's Palace is one of the largest art training centers after school in the country. Many studtents go to the Beijing Children's Palace to learn something different from what they study in school. In past 50 years, over100,000 teenagers have taken extra-curricular classes in Beijing Children's Palace , located in th former royal garden behind Jingshan Park. In Beijing Children's Palace, they learn painting, calligraphy, photography, dancing, singing, football, or other activities.

Shijingshan Amusement Park was first opened in 1986. It is located north of the Bajiaocun subway station,only 15 km far from Tian'anmen. You can reach it directly It by the line 1 subway and many public traffic. In the park, there are Gothic Cinderella Castle, Arabic restaurant, Euro style Blue Bridge, Russian gate tower etc. You can enjoy the games, such as jet tower, gorge drift, big dipper and rocket bungee etc.

China National Children's Center (CNCC):
Set up in 1982, China National Children's Center is a non-profit organization for teenagers after-school education at national level. It works as a window for the international intercourse of China children's work. The basic aim of CNCC is 'Everything for Children'.
