We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

» Zhengzhou Confucian Temple

Zhengzhou Confucian Temple (郑州孔庙) was initially built in Eastern Han Dynasty. It is the second Confucian temple to the Confucian Temple in Qufu, Shangdong province. Confucian temple is devoted to the memory of Confucius and the other sages and philosophers of Confucianism.

The Relics of Dahe Primitive Village (大河村遗址), located at the place 12 km away from the north of Zhengzhou, covers an area of 300,000 square meters with the 3 different historical relics of the Yangshao Culture as well as Longshan Culture and the Shang Dynasty Culture. Its cultural strata reach 4-7meters in thickness.

» Mt.Songshan in Zhengzhou

Mt. Songshan, also called Zhong Yue, is well-known as one of the Five Great Mountains in China. Chinese three idea systems, Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism meet here, so to some extent, it would be called the cultural or religious holy-land rather than a picturesque mountain.

» Henan Museum

The Henan Museum, as one of the four grand museums in China, is situated in Nongye Road, Zhengzhou. It was originally constructed in 1927 in Kaifeng and relocated to Zhengzhou in 1961. The present building was built up in 1991. Its appearance of hourglass seems to tell you what will deposit here after the time flies.
