As to the strategic geographical location, Zhengzhou is a major transport hub along the Yellow River, which makes the flow of goods easily. You can find the specialties in a selection of department stores or shopping streets. The shopping streets such as Taikang Lu, Renmin Lu and Jiefang Lu are mainly in the northeastern area adjacent to the railway station. Miyu Jade
Miyu Jade features hard texture with natural clear color and there is very little impurity inside. Miyu Jade originate in Xinmi city, hence it got the name. There are five colors of Miyu Jade, red, white, cyan, black and green. Thereinto, the green ones are the most precious. The jewelries made from the Miyu jade are crystal clean and shining with green color.
Huanghe Inkstone
Huanghe (Yellow River) Inkstone is one of the four famous inkstones that have been used by calligraphers and artists over the centuries. It is made from a clay deposit from the Yellow River, blended with herbs.
Lacquer Ware
Lacquer Ware is a kind of folk art in Zhengzhou. It is made of Chinese parasol and manufactured into daily household utensils, handcraft and art works with the surface painted in the lacquer. It features not being changed easily and burst apart and bearing heat.

Erqi Area
Erqi business area is situated at a crossing with “Erqi” Memorial Tower at the center. It is the most famous shopping place for Zhengzhou residents, full of domestic and international brand clothing shops on both sides of Erqi Road. If you are looking for brand clothes, Dennis Department Store can fulfill your needs. If you are a fan for unique design, Dehua Pedestrian Street is a good choice.
Huayuan Road
It is a high class business area in Zhengzhou. Many big shopping malls such as Zhonghuan department store and Zijinshan department store are concentrated in the street. It is also home to the headquarters of many financial organizations.

Dehua Commercial Walking Street
Dehua Street is an old street with a history of more than 100 years. It retains a touch of old atmosphere. Homely businesses, like Tongrentang Pharmacy, Kuixiang Flower Shop, Wuzhoupai Publishing House, Jingdu Laocaiji Wonton Restaurant and Laozhangwai Wonton Restaurant flourish here. The Boji hospital can also be found on Dehua, along with newly-built Yasiya Shopping Center, the Maternity & Infant warehouse, and the Dehua Street Public Bath.
