Pick you up at your hotel at 8:00am. First drive to the foot of Jiankou Great Wall. Jiankou sections of the Great Wall is located in Huairou County, about 75 km north of Beijing. It links with Mutianyu Great Wall, about 5 km to the its east and with Huanghuacheng Great Wall to its west. Jiankou Great Wall was first constructed in 1368 during the Ming dynasty. Jiankou Great Wall is entirely wild and picturesque. At the same time, it is quiet dangerous to climb. So be careful. Jiankou Great Wall is made from big white rocks which makes it very attractive from a distance. The main part of Jiankou Great Wall is constructed along a mountain ridge with steep cliffs on both side, and due to the lack of revnovation, Jiankou is now among the most dangerous sections of the whole Great Wall. The hike to the top of Jiankou Great Wall takes about 4-5 hours. You prepare for you the fresh lunch at the foot of the Wall. At the foot of the mounains, there is the largest breeding place for the famous rainbow mountain trout in the North of China. This rainbow trout when eaten fresh is delicious either cooked or eaten raw! After the excursion, transferred back to your hotel downtown. ( L )
