Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, met and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02: Beijing
Beginning the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the Forbidden City hat symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to hotel. ( B L )
Day 03: Beijing
Today's highlight is to visit the great wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, continue a visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. ( B L D )
Day 04: Beijing--Jishou by over night train
Morning free on your own. transferred to Beijing West Station and take the overnight-train no.K267 (12 : 58/14 : 53 next day ) for Jishou. ( B )
Day 05: Fengjhuang
Arrival at Jishou at 14:53 and take the bus to Fenghuang town ( 50 KM away ). Stay at hotel. Free and explore the town on your own. ( D )
Day 06: Fenghuang
Full day sightseeing in Fenghuang. Fenghuang is known as the Phoenix City. Fenghuang (Chinese for Phoenix) is a small and old city, 140km south to Zhangjiajie City and 52km south to Jishou City in Hunan Province, China. It covers an area of 1700 km with a population of 370,000, there are the minority ethnic group, such as Miaos, tujias, it was called the most beautiful ancient city in China by the famous writer Louis in New Zealand. Fenghuang has lots of relics and the sightseeing, the ancient city’s mountains and Tuo river, residents and establishment, temples and pavilions and so on. ( B L D )
Day 07: Fenghuang--Zhangjiajie by road
Morning still Fenguang town on your own. After lunch, drive to Zhangjiajie. Met and transferred to your hotel in Zhangjiajie. ( B L D )
Day 08: Zhangjiajie ( Huangshi Village, Golden Whip Stream )
After breakfast, first take cable car to Huangshi Village ( 2 hours' sightseeing there). After lunch, move on to Golden Whip (Jinbian) Stream. It takes about 2 or 3 hours to walk around Golden Whip Stream. Return to your hotel in Zhangjiajie. ( B L D )
Day 09: Zhangjiajie ( Mt.Tianzi, Yuanjiajie )
After breakfast, drive to the Mt.Tianzi and Helong Park . There visitors spend about 2-3 hours for sightseeing. The mountains have primeval forests and beautiful water. Also their local plain folkways, special customs and local specialities are attractive to tourists fro home and abroad. People often say that if people who have climbed Tianzi Mountain will have no desire to climb any other mountains" and "It is said that you haven't been to Wulingyuan if you don't climb Tianzi Mountain". After lunch, drive about 45 minutes to Yuanjiajie and the highest natural bridge in the world (2 or 3 hours' sightseeing there). Yangjiajie is next to Zhangjiajie in the east and Tianzi mountain in the north with an area of about 34 square km. It is formed of three parts: Xiangzhistream, Longquan valley and Baihouvalley .The Yangjiajie Nature Reserve over 100 scenic spots. In this reserve you will find clear waters with spectacular mountains. It has unique peaks and cliffs as well as clear streams and brooks and waterfalls.
Day 10: Zhangjiajie--Shanghai by air
Take a morning flight to Shanghai. Met and transferred to your hotel in Shanghai. After lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden and Bazar. In the evening dinner will be served. After dinner, you will be arranged to watch the fantastic acrobatic show. ( B L D )
Day 11: Shanghai
First visit Shanghai Museum. Then move on to the Pedestrians only Nanjing Road.After lunch, take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River.Next you will have a nice walk along the Bund. Back to your hotel. ( B L )
Day 12: Exit from Shanghai
Transferred to the airport for your next destination. ( B )
