Just back from China, we just drop a line to let you know how wonderful our trip to Yangtze River was! Vicky Zhang, the tour guide on the cruise ship is a very charming and intelligent and helpful. We felt very lucky to have her along the Yangtze River! She is an asset both to your tour company and the cruise company! She is very knowledgeable and made our crusing trip so fruitful and positive! Also the tour guide and drivet in Chongqing were very nice too. The guide Linda Ma was so sweet and helpful! Thank you again for all your help in arranging our trip to Yangtze River and Chongqing! My 15-year-old son will have so much great information to share with his schoolmates about the amazing cruising along the Yantze River of China.

Day 01: Arrival in Shanghai
Arrival in Shanghai, met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02: Shanghai
After breakfast, visit Yuyuan Garden, a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. Just next to Yuyuan Garden is the Old City God's Temple Bazaar from the Song Dyansty. After lunch, proceed to visit The Bund, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai. After dinner you will enjoy the world famous Shanghai Acrobats Show. ( B L D )
Day 03: Shanghai -- Chongqing by air
Take afternoon flight for Chongqing. But This morning you still do the tour in Shanghai. Go to the Shanghai National Museum. After lunch you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Chongqing. You will be met by the local guide and taken on a short tour of the city before dinner. After dinner you will transfer to the Cruise vessel for boarding. ( B L D )
Sail through the Qutang and Wu Gorges. In the afternoon you will take an excursion up the Daning River or Shennong Stream ( B L D )
Day 06: Yichang -- Beijing by air
Arrival at Yichang in the late morning. Met by the local guide and transferred to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Met in Beijing by the local guide and transferred to your central area hotel ( B L D ).
Day 07: Beijing
Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the "Forbidden City" that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit to Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to your hotel. ( B L )
Day 08: Beijing
Start 8:00am from the hotel and have a full day excursion to The Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch,go on with the visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Return to hotel roughly at 6:00 PM ( B L )
Day 09: Beijing
Start 9:00 am from the hotel. Today's tour focuses on the traditional part of Beijing residential area. Take rickshaw to have Hutong Tour and enter the former Prince Gong's Mansion to Experience the noble life of the last Qing Emperor's father. Lunch will be had at an ordinary family of Beijinger's in a courtyard. After lunch proceed to have a look at Lama Temple. The last program is to have a fun of shopping and bargaining at Yaxiu Market. Peking Duck Dinner in the evening. ( B L D )
