Fengdu Ghost City is the only Ghost town in China. The Fangdu Ghost City also well-known as Spirit world is situation on the Yangyze River. The fist pit stop from the Chongqing is Ghost city. The suspicious and beautiful ghost town is actually located on the mountains on the right side of the river.
The tradition and the legends believed that the Fengdu is the town of graveyards for Taoism, the people have the faith that the spirits of the dead people gathered at this place and it was built around 1700 years back.
The Fengdu is worth watching because it really looks like a ghost residing of the mountains. There are more then 70 Tao and Buddha temples in the town. Majority of the temples is placed on a famous mountain known as Ming Mountain.
The Fengdu ghost place is also full of statues which were spiritually designed; locals believe that the statues have their responsibilities set for the security of the spirit world.
Fandgu ghost city is the most populated place with the old graveyards. It also has a forest park, one of the most beautiful and this is the reason if one travels to the Three Forges of Yangtze River, Fandgu is the place one can’t miss at any cost.
The people around are also get attracted by the magic shows, they have their very strong belief on the magic shows, spirit shows and the Fangdu ghost city. They gathered on this place with their families and even they choose their family and new born babies names during the fair by the help of magic or spirit shows.
