Dragon Cruises and Sailing Schedules 2008

Dragon Cruises - There are four China Dragon Cruise Liners: MV.Emperor, MV Dragon, MV.Three Kingdoms and MV.Serenity. The company has been approved by ISM ( Rules & Regulations on safe operation and pollution management of watercrafts in P.R.China) and awarded the DOC certificate. Sailing along the main cities of Three Gorges between Chongqing and Yichang.

1. Dragon Cruises - M.V. Emperor:
M.V. Emperora 5 star ship, also the flagship of Dragon Cruises (4 ships), Emperor cruise was newly built in 2003 with a design of modern European style. She is the first cruise equipped with elevators of all the ships cruising on the river. Sailing along the main cities of Three Gorges between Chongqing and Yichang.

2. Dragon Cruises - MV.Dragon:
MV.DragonCompleted in 1996, MV.Dragon (Qian Long) is a 5 star ship, the only dragon shaped deluxe ship sailing on Yangtze River. For a long time, dragon symbolizes the spirits of Chinese people. Dragon actually is the theme of the ship. The Ship has eighty cabins, two of which are of special imperial style suites built to resemble the emperor's temporary dwellings and decorated with red felt carpets.Total capacity is 160 passengers. The ship is equipped with central air-conditioning, closed circuit TV, international satellite communication, bar and coffee shop, library, gym, beauty salon, sauna and massage. Sailing along the main cities of Three Gorges between Chongqing and Yichang.

3. Dragon Cruises - Three Kingdoms:
Three KingdomsIt, a 4-star cruiser, represents itself as a replica of the ancient warship, which dates back to 220 A .D. As you know, the country, at that time, was divided into three areas ( three kingdoms ), namely the Wei, Wu and Shu kingdoms. They fought each other for over one hundred years. Looking like an Eastern Han Dynasty warship with watch towers, musts, fluttering banners, forest of swords and spears, "Three Kingdoms" gives a fantastic sight. The interior has a castle-like entrance hall, a ceiling inlaid with the stars and constellations. All cabins are comfortable. There is a Shopping corridor in Han dynasty style. All show the life style in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Some good shows of that legendary history will be done during the cruise so that the visitors can have a better feeling of that history. Sailing along the main cities of Three Gorges between Chongqing and Yichang.

4. Dragon - M.V. Serenity:
M.V. SerenityIt is quite different from other Yangtze River ships by its design and shape. Its hull is made of closed glass curtain wall, which gives her a highly faired style, that only the luxurious ocean liners possess. It is a 4-star cruiser. completed in 1993 and last furnished in 2002, this four-deck vessel has a gross tonnage of 5191 and a draft of 2.6 meters. One thing worth talking is that the cabins on M. V. Serenity are larger than same class cabins on other Yangtze cruise ships. The size of a standard room is more than 19 square meters against normal ships with 10 to 16 square meters.Sailing along the main cities of Three Gorges between Chongqing and Yichang.
