Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, met and transferred to your hotel (booked by us). Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02: Beijing
Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the "Forbidden City" that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit to Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to your hotel. ( B L )
Day 03: Beijing
After breakfast, have an excursion to The Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, go on with the visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck Dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. ( B L D )
Day 04: Beijing - Xian by air
After breakfast, take morning flight for Xian. Met and transferred to your hotel in Xian (booked by us). After lunch, your city tour begins with a visit to The Shaanxi Museum - a large modern museum of the national level. Then move on to The Bell Tower and drum tower - dating back to the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Then visit Xian City Wall - a symbol of great significance of the famous historic cultural city of Xian. Day 05: Xian
After breakfast at hotel, have full excursion to the Terra-cotta Army - a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old terra-cotta Army of China’s First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. After lunch, visit Banpo Museum - a village set up by a late Neolithic people.. After having the local flavor - Dumpling Dinner, enjoy Tang Dynasty Show in the evening. ( B L D )
Day 06: Xian--Lanzhou by air
After breakfast, take flight for Lanzhou. Met and transferred to your hotel in Lanzhou. After lunch, visit Lanzhou Gansu Provincial Museum and White Pagoda Park . ( B L D )
Day 07: Lanzhou - Lhasa by overnight train
Take excursion to the Binglingsi Grottoes. Afternoon take overnight train for Lhasa. ( B L )
Day 08: Lhasa
Arrival in Lhasa at 22:30. Met and transferred to your hotel in Lhasa. Rest of the day is free for you to get accustomed to the Tibetan climate and altitude.
Day 09: Lhasa
Today you will go to visit the sacred Jokhang Monastery, a 1,300-year old golden-roofed shrine. Out of the Jokhang, you are right in the center of fascinating Barkhor area, lined with the stalls of an outdoor market selling all kinds of goods. ( B L D )
Day 10: Lhasa
Today's highlight is a visit to the architectural and religious wonders of the Potala Palace. In the afternoon, we will pay a visit to the Sera Monastery, located a few miles to the north of Lhasa. Enjoy a Tibetan Song & Dance Performance after dinner. ( B L D )
Day 11: Lhasa
Come to the western suburb of Lhasa to visit the extraordinary Drepung Monastery founded in 1416. Afterwards, we move on to a couple of small Tibetan villages where locals go about their daily business. Return to Lhasa in the afternoon and rest of the day is free for your own exploration. ( B L )
Day 12: Lhasa - Shanghai by air
Take a morning flight to Shanghai via Chengdu. Check in your hotel. Take a stroll on the Bund, a splendid row of early 20th century European buildings. Enjoy an exciting acrobatic show in the evening. ( B L D )
Day 13: Shanghai
Shanghai Visit Suzhou-style Yuyuan Garden and walk through the Old Town filled with antique markets and specialty stores. The focus of today's exploration is Shanghai Museum, a leading attraction of the city since it opened in 1994. Later, wander around the former French Concession. You will have some free time in the afternoon to explore the city by your own. ( B L )
Day 14: Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai by car or coach
Hotel Pick-up is between 8:30AM and 9.00AM at your Shanghai hotel. Then drive to Suzhou which takes about one hour. Suzhou visit the Humble Administrator's Garden and Silk Factory. After lunch, go on with the visit of Ancient City Wall, Grand Canal Cruise Tour, Tiger Hill and Leaning Pagoda. After the Suzhou tour, transferred to Shanghai. Stay at your hotel in Shanghai ( B L D )
Day 15: Shanghai Exit
Transfer to airport for departure or free on your own. ( B )
