The pear flowers are white, rarely tinted yellow or pink, 2–4 cm diameter, and have five petals. The best place to view pear blossoms is Panggezhuang in Daxing District, the south suburban district of Beijing. Daxing is not only famous for watermelon but also pear planting.

In history Panggezhuang was the main supplier of high-quality pears to the imperial family during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. Pear trees of over 100 years still grow well there. The best time to go is after April 20 when most of the trees are in blossom.

Lunch will be arranged in one of the local farmer house to enjoy local food. Then head back to Beijing World Park. It is located in southwestern Fengtai District of Beijing, and is about 20 km from the City center. Opened in 1993, it is estimated to receive over 1.5 million visitors annually. The park shows over 100 sites in a scaled-down version from about 50 countries around the world, including the Eiffel Tower in Paris, pyramids in Egypt, the World Trade Center in New York, the Tower Bridge in London and many more! After the whole day tour, return to your downtown hotel.
