We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

Museum of Ancient Pottery Civilization
Museum of Ancient Pottery Civilization is one specialized in pottery culture. The culture relics it preserves are conformed of three series, including over 100 ancient painted potteries of Neolithic Age and potteries of Zhou, Qin and Han Dynasties, over 300 tiles with a circular facade of Warring States period and Qin and Han Dynasties, and over 1000 lutes of Qin and Han Dynasties, as well as about 3000 ancient potteries of other fields concerned.

All these relics form a nearly complete and vivid history of pottery civilization. Many of the relics belong to 4R grade, among which the lutes of Qin Dynasty can be seen as the first collection of government official names and geography records of China's united feudal kingdoms, and the source and files of China's generations of government systems.

The museum displays about 600 relics in a fixed way and the relics are divided into four parts: "painted pottery nest", "tiles panorama" "rare lutes" and "series of ancient potteries". Displayed together with these relics, there is the series of multi artistic languages of Lu Dongzhi.
