As Beijing's first county-level comprehensive museum, Mentougou Museum is a public service unit with 11 working staff affiliated to Mengtougou Cultural Bureau.The museum houses 3,400 pieces of collection represented by folk-custom items. The basic displays include History of Mentougou, Revolutionary History, and Folk Customs. Additionally, the museum holds 12 temporary exhibitions on various subjects such as cultural relics, revolutions, folk customs, painting, and photographing etc.
The forms include circular exhibitions and the regular exhibitions.
