Kuaixue Hall Calligraphy Museum
The Kuaixue Hall Calligraphy Museum is located inside Kuaixue Hall in Beihai Park. The museum displays calligraphic works and stone inscriptions by famous calligraphic works and stone inscriptions by famous calligraphers throughout various dynasties.It also demonstrated the ancient processes of producing China’s “four treasures of the study” i.e., writing brush, ink-stick, ink-slab, and paper. The most famous exhibits in the museum are a page from Kuaixue Shiqing, written by Wang Xizhi; and “Note on Kuaixue Hall,” written by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.
The Kuaixue Hall Stone Inscriptions are mounted on the wall inside the east-west corridors of Kuaixue Hall.
