Beijing Longtan Temple Fair
Visiting temple fairs is one of the must-to-do things during Spring festival in Beijing. I have been in Beijing for 14 years. Each year I would go to one of the temple fairs in Beijing. Though I know, it is not a big deal for any of the temple fairs in Beijing. But missing the temple fair will make me feel uncomfortable as if the spring festival doesn't ever exist. Today all my staff are off on their holiday. I'm on duty in my office. The temptation is great to see a temple fair. So I decided to walk to one of the nearest temple fair--Longtan Temple Fair for a look. I was excited to find a sea of people at the Longtan park, a huge number of holiday makers!! My god! Why do they all come here? To see people? Visit Temple Fair to enjoy the different local and traditional food and buy some junk? I don't know. Maybe just like me, going to temple fair is a routine and a must. If don't visit a temple fair, then where to ? That's ordinary people's life. That's life. Just enjoy it. Anyhow, a kind of rewind from home and office. At the temple fair, I jealously took the picture above of a father with his daughter. Life is beautiful! Feb 19, 2007. |
