Dongcheng District Beijing
Beijing Dongcheng District accommodates some important parts of Beijing including Wangfujing and Dongdan areas, as well as the Beijing Railway Station, the Eastern Chang'an Avenue, and the northeastern part of the second Ring Road all under its control.
It is the second largest district in the downtown Beijing within the second ring road. In the past, most wealthy merchants and middle-class lived in this area.
More significant attractions include Guijie, Nanluoguxiang, Drum Tower, Lama Temple, the Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square, Zhongshan Park, the National Museum of China and Ditan Park.
