Tour Overview
Pickup from your hotel between 6:30am and 7:30am. Then drive to Shixiaguang Great Wall, officially known as Ruined Badaling Great Wall. one of the well preserved section of "Wild Great Wall" around Beijing. you will be escorted to hike across the Great Wall about 7 kilometers with 4 hours.
Shixiaguan Great Wall is 5km southwest of the restored Badaling Great Wall,a western gate of the Badaling Defense Works. Shixiaguan Great Wall is totally unrestored with only some iron railings and wooden board walkways for the first few bits of the Wall. Shixiaguan Great Wall is the only wild and unrestored section of the Wall around Beijing which is offically opened to the public. So it is a less touristy section of the Great Wall around Beijing.

Travel Tips for the Hike
1: The 4-hour hike is a bit challenging. Travelers have to decide on their own as to whether to hike the whole journey. If you are not willing to walk across this section of the Wall due to the physical condition, you may retrace to the starting point within 2 hours.
2: Wear long sleeves and pants, conformable sports shoes on your trip to avoid the overgrown bushes and possible fall.
