Trip to Leshan Giant Buddha
After lunch, we drove to Leshan Giant Buddha, which is a statue of Maitreya in sitting posture. In December,1996, the the Giant Buddha was included by UNESCO on the list. Tonight, we stayed at Huasheng Hotel. It is a very nice 4-star Hotle.
We drove to Leshan County about 160 Km away from Chengdu and arrived at the pier for the Leshan Giant Buddha

A natural sleeping buddha. A male buddha? Ha!
People were shopping again at the small stores by the pier
