Chengdu enjoys a subtropical monsoon climate characterized by an early spring, hot summer, cool autumn and warm winter. The average annual temperature for the year is 16℃.
The climate of Chengdu is mild and humid with distinct four seasons and plenty of rainfall. January is the coldest season when the average temperature is approximately 5 degrees Celsius, and July is the hottest when temperature can be almost unbearable.
