On behalf of my family and myself I would like to thank you and your people who made our trip to Beijing so memorable. Your last minute help in arranging our private tour and the tour itself were fabulous. Our guide and driver were wonderful and enhanced our experience of your fascinating city enormously. We brought away many happy memories from our trip which we will cherish for a long time to come. Even my 2 and 4 year old children enjoyed the sightseeing. Beijing Subway Line 1 ( east - west line under Changan Avenue ):
This is the first subway line in Beijing. Part of the line was built 1965 and open to the public on Oct 01,1969. The line is 31.04 km long with 23 stations. The line runs mainly under Changan Street from Ping Guo Yuan to Si Hui Dong, through Fuxing Men,Tiananmen Square, Jianguo Men and Guo Mao. The entire Line 1 provides transfer to Ring Line 2 twice, at Fuxingmen and at Jianguomen.
Brief Intruduction to the 23 Subway Stations of Line 1 ( from east to west ):
Station 1: 苹果园 ( Ping Guo Yuan - Apple Park )
It is the starting point of the line 1. If you want to visit the west suburban of Beijing. You may ride the subway to this station and change for the Ping Guo Yuan Bus Station.
