 Golmud City, located in the southern part of Haixi Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, aims to attract more tourists this year with its key scenic spots such as the Kunlun Mountain, the salt lake and the diversiform-leaved poplar forest.
At present, Golmud City tries to polish its image as a famous tourist city with its tourists and tourist revenue on the rise year by year. The city boasts "China's salt lake city" on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau -- the roof of the world. The Kunlun culture is also promoted as part of its efforts.
