Datong Transportation

Airline
Datong Airline is located in the north of Bei Jiazao town, 15 kilometers away from the city center. The skyway to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, etc. has been opened.
There are free round-trip buses from airport to the city center, the route as follows: Datong Hotel—Five Continents Hotel—Civil Ticket Office—Datong Airport.

Railway
Datong is the important traffic hinge connected with Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia. Five double lines electrization railway such as Jingbao, Jingyuan, Dazhang, Daqin, Beitongpu and more than 40 laterals, leased line are intertwining.
Datong railway station is the special grade station in the whole country. Arrival to the north of Shanxi by train, the Datong railway station is still the most convenient choice at present. Everyday, several trains drive up to Beijing, Taiyuan, Hangzhou, Baotou, Shenyang and so on. Datong railway station is situated in Xinjian North Road, so bus No.2,4,8,14,16,21 could arrive.

Highway
At present, the highway from Datong to Beijing has been completed, named Jing Da Highway. The national highway 108,109,208,209 and immense amount of interprovincial trunks complect into a net. Datong holds 4 long-distance bus stations, that is South Station, North Station, Xinpinwang Station and New South Station.
The South Station is situated in No.20, Yantong West Road mainly being bound for Beijing, Tangshan, Shijiazhuang, Chongqing, Jinan, Luoyang, Baoding, Baochang, Huhehaote, Baotou,etc. Consulting Tel: 0352-6036784
