They took great care of me and my wife on our just ended short tour to Datong. They had a strong sense of punctuality. They fully understood what we wanted was. We found them extremely polite, curteuous. They are an asset to your company. The historic Datong is beyond our expectation! The Yungang Grottoes and Yingxian Wooden Pagoda are world class cultural heritage. It is a shame that the publicity of Datong is so limited. Comparing to big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, the nightlife in Datong is a little fade, but you could find your own position here. Most of the entertainment places such as KTV, Bars gather along the Sipailou area, where is the place of young men. Dancing and singing here could take away the fatigue. The performances in these bars are less exquisiter, but more native. It is easy, simple played by the local music enthusiasts to release the peeve, oppression of the daylight.
Shanxi Jin Opera is the representative opera, having the similar costumes, toilette and action with Peking Opera, but different aria. It features marked local color. If you are interested, you could have an enjoyment in Datong Theatre.
