The mausoleum is 25-kilometers away from Datong City and border upon the Great Wall. It is surrounded by cyan mountains and green trees. On the top of the southern hill, there is a mausoleum named Yonggu Mausoleum buried Queen Mother Feng of Wei Dynasty. In the North Wei Dynasty, it was a larger royal Xanadu once built Ling Spring Palace and Ling Spring Pool. The whole mausoleum is on an north-south axis with the main halls facing the South.
