Datong Grand Mosque

As per the recordation in Qing Dynasty, the temple was set up in the second year of Zhenguan Year (628 year) in Tang Dynasty. The whole architecture not only retain the Chinese ancient style of wooden architecture but also feature the Arabian Culture. The whole Mosque is clean and statedly, taking on declivity from the gate to the house. Along the axie wire ranges the frontispiece, cross pavilion, stone bridge, and the palace and on the both sides of the axie wire matches wing-room, bathroom etc. The main body is made up of such four palaces as rolling roof Baosha (a kind of building whose porch leading to the main hall; also the small cabinet behind it), a complex of Xieshan roof and Yingshan roof, finally another complex of rolling roof and round roof.
