Arrival in Beijing, met and transferred to your hotel ( booked by us ) in Beijing. Free for the rest of the day. Day 02: Beijing Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the “Forbidden City” that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit to Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to your hotel. ( B L ) Day 03: Beijing
After breakfat, have an excursion to the Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch,go on with the visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. ( B L D ) Day 04: Beijing - Chongqing by air & board Cruises vessel Take flight from Beijing to Chongqing, transfer from airport, board Cruises vessel. Day 05: Yangtze River
First arrival at either Fengdu, known as the "Ghost City", or Wanxian, or Shibaozhai (depending on river conditions). Then, return to the ship and pass towards the fantastic Three Gorges. ( B L D ) Day 06: Yangtze River--Daning River
Today entry into the Qutang Gorge. Cruise ship carefully pilots its way through the narrow course. At Wushan, disembark the ship and board smaller vessels in order to explore either the Daning River or Shennong Stream. Reboard the ship and sail through the Wu Gorge ( B L D ) Day 07: Yichang--Shanghai by air Pass through the Xiling Gorge which is the longest and historically the most dangerous of the Three Gorges. We move on to the massive Dam and disembark for a tour of this engineering marvel at Sandouping Village. Cruise Arrival in Yichang at 11:30AM. Transfer from cruise to airport, take flight to Shanghai by air. Met and tranferred to your hotel ( booked by us ). Free for rest of the day. Yangtze River Cruise Ports & Attractions Day 08: Shanghai After breakfast, vist Yuyuan Garden, a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. Just next to Yuyuan Garden is the Old City God's Temple Bazaar from the Song Dyansty. After that, move on to the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Road, a walking bustling street that is always packed with people waching other people. After lunch, go to Shanghai's new zone - Pudong ( east of Huangpu River ) and visit Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower - the world's third tallest TV tower after the 553-meter CN Tower in Toronto and the 535-meter Moscow TV Tower. Finally take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. After dinner, enjoy Acrobatics show. Back to your hotel. ( B L D ) Day 09: Exti From Shanghai
