History: Xingyi was built early in the history, however, it was first stated as Xingyi County in BC1789 and renamed Xingyi City in 1986.

Climate: A yearly average temperature of Xingyi is about 15℃. July is the hottest month of the year with an average of 24℃ while January is the coldest one, averaging a temperature of 4.6℃.
Attractions: Malinghe Valley-The valley around the Malinghe River is a national scenic spot in south western part of Guizhou. It was formed during the Yanshan movement of the earth. With fantastic views, precipices and waterfalls, the valley is absolutely fascinating. Boat rides down the river provide great views of the beautiful scenery.
