Tour Code:BIMT-06 Tour Itinerary: Day 01: Beijing - Chengde - Mulan Weichang Grassland by train + vehicle Pick up from your hotel in Beijing at about 6:00am by our tour guide with your private vehicle and transferred to Beijing Railway Station. Our tour guide will assist you in doing the procedure for the taking the train and escort you to the train carriage. You will take 4-hour morning train N211 for Chengde starting at 07:16 am. Arrival at Chengde Railway Station at 11:15am. You will be met by our Chengde tour guide at the entrance of your train carriage on the plateform. After lunch at Chengde, drive 250km and get to Mulan Weichang Grassland. Stay at the local hotel nearby. Local cuisine - roast lamb for dinner. ( L D ) Day 02: Mulan Weichang Grassland - Chengde by vehicle
Most of the day on the grassland: horse riding, arrow shooting, driving etc. After late lunch, drive back to Chengde. Stay at Hanming Hotel in Chengde. ( B L D ) Day 03: Chengde - Beijing by train After early breakfast, have a half day's tour of Chengde. First visit Summer Resort, Built for 89 years beginning from 1703, it is the largest imperial garden. The sightseeing takes about 2 hours. Then move on to the Little Potala Palace, built in 1767, it is a copy of the Potala Palace in Tibet. The buildings are a blend of Han and Tibetan styles. The visit takes about one hour. Inner Mongolia has extreme weather. There is a dramatic difference in temperature between day and night. It is necessary to take some warm clothing or rent them on the spot when you travel on the grassland. It is also one of the driest regions in China. You are kindly reminded to bring hydrated and take moisturizing lotion to protect your skin.
