We just got home and I wanted to email you thank you so much for a fabulous holiday!!! We really didn't know what to expect but everything exceeded our expectations.
Inner Mongolia is beautiful and the Gegentala Grassland was just the highlight!
Nancy and Xia were just too great. It is so nice to go on a holiday like that and not be stressed out one bit.
Nancy was wonderful!!! Very knowledgable and the boys just loved her. Xia is a wonderful driver....None of us were ever concerned while we were in the van. Always felt safe! I thank you again for all your help preparing for the trip and everything that was done during our time there.

Beijing Mulan Weichang Grassland 3 Days Tour

Day By Day Itinerary:
Day 01: Beijing - Chengde - Mulan Weichang Grassland by train + vehicle ( L D )
Pick up from your hotel in Beijing at about 6:00am by our tour guide with your private vehicle and transferred to Beijing Railway Station. Our tour guide will assist you in doing the procedure for the taking the train and escort you to the train carriage. You will take 4-hour morning train K7711 for Chengde starting at 08:07 am. Arrival at Chengde Railway Station at 12:29. You will be met by our Chengde tour guide at the entrance of your train carriage on the plateform. After lunch at Chengde, drive 250km and get to Mulan Weichang Grassland. Stay at the local hotel nearby. Local cuisine - roast lamb for dinner.
Day 02: Mulan Weichang Grassland - Chengde by vehicle ( B L D )
Most of the day on the grassland: horse riding, arrow shooting, driving etc (all the grassland activities are not included in the tour package). After late lunch, drive back to Chengde. Stay at our deisgnated Hotel in Chengde.
Day 03: Chengde - Beijing by train ( B L )
After early breakfast, have a half day's tour of Chengde. First visit Summer Resort, Built for 89 years beginning from 1703, it is the largest imperial garden. The sightseeing takes about 2 hours. Then move on to the Little Potala Palace, built in 1767, it is a copy of the Potala Palace in Tibet. The buildings are a blend of Han and Tibetan styles. The visit takes about one hour. After lunch, take Train N212 (13:30-17:48) for Beijing. Met and transferred to your hotel or residence in Beijing.

It is necessary to take some warm clothing or rent them on the spot when you travel on the grassland. It is also one of the driest regions in China.
