Harbin is the most northeastern and coldest provincial capital in China. Harbins has distinctive four seasons. The winter is long and cold. The summer is short and hot. Harbin is the capital of Heilongjiang Province. Located in the middle reaches of the Songhua River and a busy river port, it borders Russia in the north.
