Daihai Tourist Resort
Daihai Tourist Resort is located in the Daihai Tourist Area in Liangcheng County, Ulanqab League, 130km south of Hohhot. Daihai literally means "Dai Sea", an inner land lake 10km from north to south, 35km from east to west. Now Daihai Scenic Area is famous for its beautiful scenery and resourceful entertainment activities.
Daihai Tourist Area is mainly composed of three parts - Daihai Tourist Resort, Daihai Hot Spring Resort and Daihai Hot Spring Hotel. In recent years, great investment has been made on the Daihai Scenic Area. It has built Daihai Hot Spring Hotel, Daihai Tourist Center, Daihai Spa City, Daihai Ski Resort and Daihai Cultural Tourism School and other projects. Now the 130 square km area around Daihai Lake is a suitable place for leisure, conference and sightseeing.
Daihai Tourist Resort is just by the northern bank of Daihai Lake, 1km east of Daihai Hot Spring Hotel, about 10km in the west of Liangcheng County. It is one of the three parts of Daihai Tourist Area. It was put into operation on July 16, 2005 and managed and invested by Beijing Energy Investment.
The tourist resort boasts of man-made beach, boardwalks, entertainment palace, a castle, food center, wharf... It is comprehensive tourist resort with multi-functions of "eating, accommodating, sightseeing and shopping".
