Arrival in Beijing, met and transferred to your hotel ( booked by us ) in Beijing. Free for the rest of the day. Day 02: Beijing Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the 鈥?a href="/attraction_guide/forbidden_city.php" target="_blank" class="000000link9ptline">Forbidden City鈥?that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit to Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Peking Duck Dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. Back to your hotel. ( B L D ) Day 03: Beijing - Luoyang by overnight train
After breakfat, have an excursion to The Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, go on with the visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Take the overnight train K269 starting at 21:42 for Luoyang. 4 people share one compartment on the train. ( B L D ) Day 04: Arrival at Luoyang
Arrival at Luoyang at 07:04 am. Tranfer to your hotel in Luoyang. Having breakfast at the hotel. After the breakfast at hotel, take private car or van to Shaolin Temple, the birthplace of Chan Buddism-cradle of Shaolin Kongfu. After the visit to Shaolin Temple, transferred to your hotel in Luoyang. ( B L D ) Day 05: Luoyang - Xian by train
After breakfast, visit the Longmen Grottoes. There are more than 2,100 grottoes at Longmen, with over 100,000 statues, about 3,600 inscriptions and stelaes, and forty Buddha's stupas. After lunch, take the train to Xian. Met and transferred to your hotel in Xian. ( B L D ) Day 06: Xian After breakfast at hotel, have full excursion to the Terra-cotta Army - a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old terra-cotta Army of China鈥檚 First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. After lunch, visit Banpo Museum - a village set up by a late Neolithic people. After having the local flavor - Dumpling Dinner, enjoy Tang Dynasty Show in the evening. Transferred back to your hotel ( B L D ) Day 07: Xian - Shanghai by air
After breakfast, visit The Shaanxi Museum,- a large modern museum of the national level. Then move on to The Bell Tower and drum tower - dating back to the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). Then visit Xian City Wall - a symbol of great significance of the famous historic cultural city of Xian. After lunch, take afternoon flight for Shanghai. Met and transferred to your hotel in Shanghai. After dinner, you will be arranged to enjoy the fantastic Acrobatics Show. ( B L D ) Day 08: Shanghai First visit Yuyuan Garden, a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. Just next to Yuyuan Garden is the Old City God's Temple Bazaar from the Song Dyansty. Then visit Shanghai Museum, the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then proceed to visit The Bund, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai. After that, move on to the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Road, a walking bustling street that is always packed with people waching other people. After lunch, go to Shanghai's new zone - Pudong ( east of Huangpu River) and visit Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower - the world's third tallest TV tower after the 553-meter CN Tower in Toronto and the 535-meter Moscow TV Tower. Finally take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Back to your hotel. ( B L D ) Day 09: Exit From Shanghai
