Pick up from your midtown hotel in Hangzhou and head to Xitang Water Town. Xitang Ancient Water Town is in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, a small town lying between Shanghai and Hangzhou. It is a typical water town in southern China with over a thousand years of history. Xitang Water Town is known for its bridges, lanes, and ceilinged corridors. There are over 10 hundred bridges connecting the town through which 9 rivers pass over. Xitang is a perfect place to escape for a day or two from the fast pace of life we are living. Many stores and houses are built on the riversides. Walking around, or standing on Xitang famous ancient bridges, or watching the boats passing, you will be amazed by the the scenery! Among others, you will be arranged to visit Maidenhair Trees at Lu You's Mausoleum, Ni's Residence, Wufu Bridge, Holy Hall, Jiangnan Woodcarving Exhibition Hall, Anjing Bridge.
After lunch, continue to visit Beizha Street, Wan'an Bridge, Shizi Bridge, Exhibition Hall, Son and Daughter - Welcoming Bridge, Huanxiu Bridge, Shipi Lane-Zhongfu Hall, Xiyuan Garden, Xue's Residence, Zhang Zheng's Root Carving Gallery and more.
After the tour in Xitang Water Town, you will be transferred back to your midtown hotel in Hangzhou.
