Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, met and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02: Beijing
Beginning the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the most largest square of this kind in the world. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the Forbidden City that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit of Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to hotel. ( B L )
Day 03: Beijing
Today's highlight is to visit the great wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, continue a visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. ( B L D )
Day 04: Beijing--Chengdu by air
After breakfast, transferred to the airport for flight to Chengdu. Met and transferrd to your hotel in Chengdu. After lunch, visit the Fu Cottage, the former residence of the famous Tang Dynasty poet, Du Fu.( B L D )
Day 05: Chengdu
Morning excursion to Panda Base. After lunch, drive back to the city of Chengdu and visit Wuhou Memorial Temple. ( B L D )
Day 06: Chengdu--Jiuzhaigou by air
After breakfast, transferred to the airport for flight to Jiuzhaigou. Driving 2-3 hours and transferred to Huanglong Scenic Area. Huanglong Scenic Area was made a world natural heritage site in 1992. After 3-4 hours' sightseeing, drive 160km and get to Jiuzhaigou scenic area. Stay at Jiuzhaigou. ( B L D )
Day 07: Jiuzhaigou
Full day sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou (World Heritage Area ). It is a fairyland called Jiuzhaigou Nine-Village Valley, which is the home of nine Tibetan villages. The valley is 50 kilometers in length. ( B L D )
Day 08: Jiuzhaigou--Chengdu--Chongqing by air + Drive
After breakfast, transferred to the airport for flight to Chengdu, then connect car or bus for Chongqing. Board your cruise ship for the Three Gorges river journey. Overnight on board. ( B L D )
Day 09: Yangtze River
First arrival at either Fengdu, known as the "Ghost City", or Wanxian, or Shibaozhai (depending on river conditions). Then, return to the ship and pass towards the fantastic Three Gorges. ( B L D )
Day 10: Yangtze River--Daning River
Today entry into the Qutang Gorge. Cruise ship carefully pilots its way through the narrow course. At Wushan, disembark the ship and board smaller vessels in order to explore either the Daning River or Shennong Stream. Reboard the ship and sail through the Wu Gorge( B L D )
Day 11: Yangtze River
Pass through the Xiling Gorge which is the longest and historically the most dangerous of the Three Gorges. We move on to the massive Dam and disembark for a tour of this engineering marvel at Sandouping Village. ( B L D )
Day 12: Yichang--Shanghai by air
Cruise Arrival in Yichang at 11:30AM Transfer from cruise to airport, take flight to Shanghai by air. Met and transferred to your hotel in Shanghai. ( B L D )
Day 13: Shanghai
After breakfast, first visit Yuyuan Garden and Bazar. After lunch, visit Shanghai Museum, the Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund. In the evening dinner will be served. After dinner, you will be arranged to watch the fantastic acrobatic show. ( B L D )
