Arrival in Beijing, met and transferred to your hotel ( booked by us ) in Beijing. Free for the rest of the day. Day 02: Beijing Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the “Forbidden City” that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit to Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to your hotel. ( B L ) Day 03: Beijing
After breakfat, have an excursion to The Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch,go on with the visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening. ( B L D ) Day 04: Beijing - Huangshan by air Morning free on your own. After lunch, take flight for Mt.Huangshan. Arrival at Huangshan City and transferred to your hotel in Tunxi. Visit the Tunxi Old Street, an acient street only for pedestrians, with the building style of Ming and Qing dynasties. ( B L D ) Day 05: Huangshan ( B L )
After breakfast, drive to the foot of Mt.Huangshan and take the cable car up to the Huangshan Mountain. Enjoy the view of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Peach Blossom Valley, the Lion Peak, the Flying-over Rock and the Bright Summit. Stay at your hotel on the mountain. ( B L D ) Day 06: Huangshan - Hongcun Village by cable car - Shanghai overnight train
After breakfast, take the cable car down the mountain. Take the bus to Hongcun Village. It is a typical Chinese Buffalo-shaped Ancient Village. Village Hongcun is about 11 km away from Yixian county and 65 km away from Tunxi ( Mt.Huangshan ). It was first constructed in Shaoxi Period during Song Dynasty. The village boats a history as long as 800 years. Hongcun Village featues its interesting layout - a water buffalo shape. Hongcun Village has always enjoyed the name "a village in the Chinese painting". Hongcun Village was designated as as a World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO in late 2000. World Heritage by UNESCO in 2000. After travelling in Hongcun, take overnight train from Huangshan to Shanghai. ( B L D ) Day 07: Arrival at Shanghai
Arrival in Shanghai in the morning. Met and transferred to your hotel ( booked by us ) in Shanghai. After lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden, a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. Just next to Yuyuan Garden is the Old City God's Temple Bazaar from the Song Dyansty. In the evening dinner will be served. After dinner, you will be arranged to watch the fantastic Acrobatics show. ( B L D ) Day 08: Shanghai First visit Shanghai Museum, the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then proceed to visit the Bund, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai. After that, move on to the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Road, a walking bustling street that is always packed with people waching other people. After lunch, go to Shanghai's new zone - Pudong ( east of Huangpu River ) and visit Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower - the world's third tallest TV tower after the 553-meter CN Tower in Toronto and the 535-meter Moscow TV Tower. Finally take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Back to your hotel. ( B L ) Day 09: Exit From Shanghai
