Me and my friend had a great time at Harbin and ice carving world and show world, we had some extra time so Steven Ma ( our local tour guide ) took us to place near Songhua River to see the winter swimming. It was amazing! We had a great time, it was the perfect ending to my trip in China. Siberian Tiger Park Harbin
The Siberian Tiger Park is located north of Songhua River, about 37 km from downtown Harbin. Since there is no direct public bus available, I take a taxi from my lodging hotel.
Ticketing Office
A bus takes us to tour the open park section by section. Most of the window of the bus is protected by iron bars from possible attack from a tiger.
We are very close to dozens of tigers, even lions. We travel the enclosed park section by section. It seems they are very wild.
Then we get off the bus, and walk along an enclosed walk way that is slightly elevated so you can almost walk among them. From the walkway, you can easily see many tigers live in sectioned open places.
A vendor sells live chickens, ducks, sheep or cows for for you to feed the tigers for fun.
Have you even seen a white tiger?
A lonely lion!
It's an excellent place and I realy enjoy the wildlife! You must go there if you are in Harbin.
