Picked up from your hotel in Shanghai around 8:30am, join the bus tour and start your exciting Shanghai city tour. You will be arranged to visit the following highlights in Shanghai including lunch:
Shanghai People's Square (30 minutes): Shanghai Peoples Square is located in the center of Shanghai, covers 140,000 square meters, surrounded by the municipal government office building, the Shanghai Museum, Shanghai City Planning Exhibition Hall and the Grand Theatre.
Shanghai Museum (1.5 hour): You will be arranged to visit Shanghai Museum. The museum has the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times, which includes bronzeware, calligraphy, paintings, pottery, porcelain, jadeware, stone carvings, Jiaguwen imperial seals, ancient coins, silk embroidery, dyed fabrics, ivory sculptures, ethnic craftsetc.
Shanghai - Zhujiajiao: Driving Time (1.5 hour)
Lunch at Water Town Restaurant (1 hour)
Explore the charming water town by boat(2 hours): Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town also known as the Shanghai's Venice. Zhujiajiao is full of the old buildings combined with the water canals, really authentic water village which represent the old Shanghai. A boat trip down the river and then walk through the small shopping streets, cross the amazing bridges, visit the beautifully laid out gardens and old houses. There are great opportunity for some great photographs.

1. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and have a good sleep the day before.
2. Normally free hotel Pickup is available if you are staying at a midtown hotel in Shanghai. For home pickup or pickup far from the downtown, please contact our trip advisor for more information.
3. The traffic in Shanghai is very bad sometimes. So we would like to have your patience if our driver and tour guide are a little bit later than the pre-arranged pick-up time due to traffic jam.
4. For daytime tour ( lunch as listed in the itinerary), we offer Chinese lunch. Usually the tourist meals have a bad name. But we try our best to improve the quality of the lunch on the tour.
5. We do arrange some shopping on the tour as listed. Chinese tourist shops have a very bad name on the internet. Actually the things are not so bad as it is. The shopping stops are nice places for you to relax and at the same time to make use of the short time to familiarize yourself with the local products as well as help create more jobs for local people. The shopping is not compulsory.
