  1. Hello Jen,

Personally, I suggest you stay overnight in Shanghai and take the bullet train to Jin Juang,Quanzhou next day morning.

  2. Hello,
I’ve taken a train from Shanghai to Hangzhou yesterday at 17:30,
and I forgot my camera Nikon P530 (in a black Canon bag) under my seat.
I went to Customer’s service in Hangzhou, but they didn’t find it,
as the train goes back quickly to Shanghai, i’d like to know if it has been found in Hongqiao station ?
I’m staying with friends living in Hangzhou, in Liu Shia, the chinese number of my friend is +8615968819832
    Kind regards,
    Lucie

  3. Did they reopen the left luggage office ?can I pay with cash at the self service luggage locker?Thank you!

  4. Hi Lillian,

No, they have no right to reopen the left luggage. You can pay cash at the self service luggage locker – 10 yuan for a small box and 20 yuan for a larger one. Be prepared for the 10 or 20 yuan note and they don’t have any change.

  5. How long can you keep luggage in the left luggage lockers? I will be traveling for 5 days, and wish to leave some luggage behind in Shanghai during that time.

  6. Hi Michaela,

You can keep your luggage in the self-service left luggage lockers for the maximum one month. The longer, you have to pay more.

  7. Hi

I plan to visit Shanghai (Hongqiao) station from Hangzhou in the morning and return to Hangzhou from the same station in the evening. Is there a hop on / hop off or Tourist bus service from Shanghai Hongqiao station that gives me a city tour. If not, which is the closest place to catch this bus.

  8. Dear Parag Desai,

I’m not sure whether Hongqiao has the hop on and hop off. Alternatively you take the subway line 2 from Hongqiao and get off at the East Nanjing Road. Then you take a hop on and hop off at East Nanjing Road.

  9. Question – I intend to leave my medium or small size luggage at the Hongqiao Railway Station at 7 a.m. on 20 May 2018 and retrieve it at 11.55 p.m. on 22 May 2018. Is there such service? How much does it cost per day?

    Thanks for your inquiry!

Sorry, I’ve never been to Yixing Railway Station. But basically each railway station has luggage deposit offices either inside or outside the terminal building. You can look for the English sign for left luggage facilities or go to the information desk for assistance. Have a nice time in Yixing!
