Shanghai Site for the First Congress of the Chinese Community Party
Situated at No.76, Luwan District, the site is a multi-story building, constructed in 1920. As the birthplace of Chinese Communist, it has become a revolutionary bethel focused attention all over the world. On 23rd July, 1921, 13 deputies such as Mao Zedong, He Shuheng, Do Biwu, Chen Tanqiu, Wang Jinmei, Deng Enming, Lida, Li Hanjun, Zhang Guotao, Liu Renjing, Chen Gongbo, Zhou Fuhai and Chen Duxiu hele the first national congress of the Chinese Cumminist Party.
Covering an area of 3000 square meters, the site is divided into two parts: One is the exhibition of revolutionary historical cultural relic (It will be the Shanghai Museum of Revolutionary history.). The other one is the former address of “the firs congress”. Inside of it, the style is very modern with abundance cultural relics. Here you can look with reverence thousands of items such as the photos of the deputies, the lifelike waxworks of the deputies taken part in the congress, costful cultural relic and literature, which introduce the historical process of the Chinese Communist’s naissance and development along with the activities after the Party’s founded. Moreover, there is a Multifunctional Hall to play Special Kinescope, explain the history of the Party’s establishment on the spot and hold all kinds of Special Learning Report Convention.
