We had an absolutely perfect day with our tour guide - Rogin Luo - who took us for a hike along The Great Wall! Didn't know what to expect and were thrilled to have him as our guide. Very imformative, knowledgable and fun! We go to experience a part of The Great Wall that was unrestored and see all its natural beauty. Got a long history lesson along the way!

After the hike, we all went to lunch at a small place at the bottom of the hill. Located in a house, we ate lunch in the proprietors bedroom! What a hoot! Rogin is the Best of the Best! This tour company delivered for us and we are extremely grateful.

Nanjing Tour

Nanjing is the capital city of Jiangsu Province, the second largest city in Eastern China just after Shanghai. "Nanjing" literally means "Southern Capital" in contrast to "Beijing" ( the northern Capital ). Nanjing is recognized as one of the four ancient capitals in China with 2,500 years'city construction history and 500 years'capital history. Nanjing has a prominent place in Chinese history and culture especially being Capital of the Ming Dynasty ( 1368 - 1421 )and Capital of the Republic ( 1927-1937;1946 -1949 ).

Apart from being a historical city with splendid culture, Nanjing is bestowed with beautiful landscape, picturesque mountains, winding rivers and the massive Yangtze River. In the recent years, the city has been greatly revamped and widened, and its pleasant plane trees give shade in summer and offer the city a leafy environment.

More than an ancient and tourist city, Nanjing also serves a springboard to dive into the most affluent cities in Eastern China - Yangzhou,Zhenjiang, Wuxi, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai. This is the right one-stop place for planning your trip to Nanjing and its neibouring cities no matter you are a very independent traveler or local travel agency frequent user.
