Me and my friend had a great time at Harbin and ice carving world and show world, we had some extra time so Steven Ma ( our local tour guide ) took us to place near Songhua River to see the winter swimming. It was amazing! We had a great time, it was the perfect ending to my trip in China. Ice and Snow World, situated in the opposite of the Sun Island Landscape, is the largest, the most brilliant and the most complete park, which is also named “the Ice Disneyland”. Blocks of ice are carved into sculptures and buildings and lit from within to provide glittering lights of ice. The structures include tall towers, Buddha Statues and even restaurants made of ice.. In the Ice and Snow World you will bring you a unique experience such as Ice Bar, Ice Hotel, Maze, Climbing Ice Rock, Golf on the ice ground, Football on the ice ground, etc. which will make your ice dream come true.
The whole Scene Area of Ice and Snow World is divided into three parts: the Eastern Part, the Middle Part, and the Western Part which has their own speciality.
The Eastern Part is mainly for ice and snow movements as well as the children entertainments, so this area consists of Man-made Ski Run, Ice Slide Board, Children Eden, Christmas Square, Maze and Inflated Architectures and so on.
The Middle Part is composed of the Mountain Everest, Times Square, Ice Colonnade, Colourful Ice Screen, Fountain, etc, most of which provides space for large movements or performances.
The Western Part is a compositive area making of the Future World, Remote Era, the Folk- Custom of Northeast District of China, European Folk Cutsom, Ice Margin Movement, Adventure Eden, Climbing Iceberg,, etc.
As Harbin’s location near the Russian border, it provides icy temperatures for most of the year. Remember to wrap up warm!
