Thank you so much for the awesome service today! Geoffry and the driver, Mr Shang, were great today. Geoffry was by the exit to the Guilin airport exactly where I walked out. And he did a great job as my guide. The van for the tour was clean and in good condition. The only suggestion I would make for better service would be to allow the guide to eat lunch with the guest when the guest is alone. It was kind of awkward eating alone, and there was plenty of food served which could have easily fed the both of us.
I'm hoping the coach tours will be a great experience as well.

Yangshuo Drawing Fans
Nearly every tourist who visits Yangshuo was interested with the local drawing fans, which was harmony with the local beautiful scenery. The fan is a kind of hand products with recherché material and exquisite technics. The artists draw different various pictures on the price paper or silk, such as the mountains and rivers in Guilin, the scenery of Yangshuo, flowers, birds, fishes, insects, running horses, violent beasts, court ladies with ancient costume, and so on. Folk Embroidery

Root Carving
Root Carving, just like its name, is a kind of a handcraft using the root of wood as the material. The most important principle to follow in root carving is to make use of the natural root. This principle usually goes like this: “Three-tenths is done by man, seven-tenth is determined by nature” then, the shape of the root carving could have its own characteristic. The type of root carving is various. Chairs, stools, tea tables, sofas, flower shelves, screens, etc are the applied root carving. The other root carvings featuring flowers, characters, animals and so on are the ornamental root carving.
Stone Carving
The hackneyed stone carving in Guilin City is from Qingtian, the hometown of Chinese Stone Carving. With beautiful modeling and refined craftsmanship, Qingtian stone carvings are loved by many people and reputed as the Embroidery on stone.
