Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Shanghai
Arrival in Shanghai, picked up and tranferred to your hotel in Shanghai. You are free for rest of the day.

Day 02: Shanghai ( B L )
First visit Shanghai Museum, the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Then proceed to visit the "Pedestrians only" Nanjing Road, a walking bustling street that is always packed with people waching other people. Then move on to the Bund, one of the most noted waterfront and architectural symbols of Shanghai. After lunch, go to Shanghai's new zone - Pudong ( east of Huangpu River) and ascend Jinmao Tower to have an eye-bird's view of Shanghai city. Finally take one hour cruising on Huang Pu River. Back to your hotel.
Day 03: Shanghai - Huangshan by overnight train ( B L )
After breakfast, visit Yuyuan Garden, a classical Qing Dynasty garden with over 30 pavilions linked by a maze of corridors and bridges over ponds. Move on to the Old City God's Temple Bazaar from the Song Dyansty. After lunch, overnight train K8418/K8419 (17:45 - next morning 6:55) for Huangshan.

Day 04: Cable car up to Mount Huangshan ( B L D )
Arrival in Huangshan at 6:55am. After breakfast at a nice hotel, head to Huangshan Scenic Area, about 1.5-hour's drive, 80km away from downtown Huangshan. Arriving at Yungu Telpher Station where you take cable car up to the mountain. Check in at your hotel - Beihai Hotel ( Add: located in the Beihai Scenic Area Tel: 86-559-5582555 ). After lunch, you start your sightseeing in Huangshan. Today your visit is focused on Beihai Scenic Area and Xihai Scenic Area including the visits of Brush Pen Peak, Begin-to-Believe Peak, Lion Peak, Xihai Grand Canyon. Enjoy sunset at Cloud Dispelling Pavilion in the evening. Stay at Beihai Hotel including dinner.

Day 05: Huangshan - Shanghai by overnight train ( B L D )
Get up early to try your luck to see sunrise at the top of Mount Huangshan. After breakfast at your hotel, beigin your visit in Yuping Scenic Area including Flying-over Rock, the Brightness Peak, Turtle Peak. Then take cable car at Yuping Station down to the foot of the Huangshan Mountain. After lunch, you are trnsferred to Tunxi ancient city to explore the ancient streets in Tunxi. After dinner, you are taken to Huangshan train station and take overnight train No.K8420/8417 (19:10 - next morning 08:53) for Shanghai.

Day 06: Arrival Shanghai
Arrival in Shanghai at 08:53. Picked up and taken to your hotel in Shanghai or you are free on your own.
