Day 01: Beijing - Baotou by morning flight
Pick up from your hotel in Beijing and take the morning flight for Baotou. After lunch, then drive 60 km south of Baotou and get to the famous Resonant Sand Gorge. After arrving at the Resonant Sand Gorge, take the bus to the chairlift station. Then take chairlift to the top of the sand hill. First take one hour's camel ride on the desert. Then enjoying the sand sliding for two times. For more activities, you are requested to pay by yourself. Drive to Erdos city 60 km south of Resonant Sand Gorge. Check in at Erdos hotel. Local cusine dinner will be arranged tonight. ( L D )
Day 02: Erdos City - Erdos Grassland stay at Yurt
After breakfast, drive 70km south of Erdos City and get to Genghis Khan's Tomb, a mausoleum constructed in commemoration of Genghis Khan, a Mongolian king (13th century) who once spreaded his empire from south China to the Caspian Sea. The present tomb was reconstructed in 1954. Then drive back to Erdos City and go west for about 120 km, getting to The Erdos Grassland. Wander around on the grassland, horse riding, arrow shooting. Later watch a wrestling competition, enjoy the Mongolian performance at night, try the local cuisine. Stay in the Mongolian style yurts. ( B L D )
Day 03: Grassland - Baotou - Beijing by road and flight
After early breakfast, drive back to Baotou airport to connect flight back to Beijing. Met and transferred back your hotel or local residence in Beijing. ( B L )

Inner Mongolia has extreme weather. There is a dramatic difference in temperature between day and night. It is necessary to take some warm clothing or rent them on the spot when you travel on the grassland. It is also one of the driest regions in China. You are kindly reminded to bring hydrated and take moisturizing lotion to protect your skin.
