After dinner, have about 20-minute walk up on to one of the towers on the wall for overnight camping in a tent. We offer tents (two sharing), mats, sleeping bagd and fashlights. No electricity and no plumbing. Take all your necessities on to the wall for next morning's hike since we start to walk on Jinshanling Great Wall directly from where you are camping.

We start to hike Jinshanling Great Wall around 8:00am and hike for 3-4 hour. The Jinshanling Great Wall was first constructed built in the Ming Dynasty. The famous general, Xu Da, of the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) supervised and directed the construction of the Great Wall. Later, Qi Jiguang led a number of defense works while guarding the north area in 1567. Each tower has its unique feature and look. There are relatively less crowded here at Jinshanling Great Wall, it is a nice place to explore the Great Wall in Beijing.

After the hike at the wall, you will be arranged to have Chinese lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.

1.If inclement weather, travelers will be arranged to stay at Jinshanling Hotel (two sharing room) at the base of the wall.
2. Don't forget to bring a mobile phone, water, hiking boots, sunscreen, sun-glasses, insect repellent, cap and some snacks etc.
3. Stay ovenight on the wall with no toilets, no electricity and no plumbing (flashing lights will be provided)
4. Noise, vandalism, graffiti and litter are not allowed on the wall
5. If any possibility of thunder, lightening or heavy rain, the camping is cancelled and campers are re-arranged to stay in the hotel at the base of Jinshanling Great Wall.
6. The Wall is a particularly delicate area, some training on camping etiquette on the part of the campers is needed.
7. Please bring your passport since we are out of Beijing and travel to Hebei Province.
8. Winter season will be cold on the wall, so alternatively, you can stay in a courtyard hotel at the foot of the mountain.
9. Please make sure you are healthy and fit for camping on the wall.
10. You are highly advised to purchase your personal accident insurance from your native country before you leave for China.
