  1. HI,
Can I still see reindeer and families farming reindeer around here? I will be travelling to this area in early December and would love to spend time with a real farming reindeer family. Is this at all possible? Yes I know it will be very cold. I have travelled in northern China before in winter.
Or is there anywhere else you would suggest I travel to see reindeer. I am thinking of going to either Hailar and Manzhouli as well. Any suggestions welcome.
    Thanks Wendy

  2. Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible to visit the Evenki in late March/April. Will there be anyone there during this time? I’m really interested in Evenki culture and would like to talk to the people there if it is possible.

    Thank you!

  3. Hi Jemma,

Thanks for your inquiry! But this is only a model for tourism, not permited to stay overnight.

  4. Hi Jemma,

Basically, people would visit the Evenki from June to September. The period ( late March/April) is a bit too early to see the show and event.

  5. If there is no provision for staying, what will be the activities then? Just pass through?

  6. My wife is genetically descended from the Ewenki, and I would like to provide her a link to her ethnic roots, and also find some form of craft/art from the Aoluguya Ewenki Ethnic Township as a gift. Please contact me so that I can understand more about what might be possible.
