Beijing Bungee Jumping

Plan your Beijing tours? If you are searching for Beijing bungee jumping, this is the right place to locate a bungy site for your adventure trip to Beijing.

Bungee jumping originated in the west and the first commercial bungee jumping started with A J Hackett, the New Zealander, who made his first jump from Auckland’s Greenhithe Bridge in 1986. About 10 years later, the first bungee jumping site appeared in Shidu, Beijing.

Now there have been five major bungee jumping sites in and around Beijing. In light of tall and fixed structures connected to a large elastic cord, the bungee jumps in Beijing are divided into three kinds: Bungy Platform (extended from a cliff), Bungy Tower and  Bungee Rocket (Reverse Bungee).

We are much delighted to introduce to you some of the bungee jumping areas in Beijing, but don’t hold any accountability for possible injuries that may occur.

1. Good health condition is needed for bungee jumping. People over 50 years old are not recommended.

  1. Hi Tariq,

As far AS I know, from 19 to 22 July, you are busy mostly from 9 am to 17 pm. So you can do nothing in terms of sightseeing since most of the attractions stop selling entrance tickets at 4:30 pm.

It is hard for you to cram Great Wall, Forbidden City and bungee jumping into the day when you are available on 23 July. Just try to hire a private taking you to Great Wall, Forbidden City on a day trip. It is too time-consuming if you use public transport.

  2. Dear shanaya williams,

The bengee jumping rates around 200 – 260 yuan per time. How long? Or How high? About 50 – 70 meters high.
