After lunch, drive to the Juyongguan Great Wall. Juyongguan Great Wall is sectioned into two semicircles - east and west. You are arranged to have a 2-hour's hike across the west section of the Juyongguan Pass Great Wall. The west part of the Juyongguan Great Wall is well known for its beautiful views and challenging hike. No cable car is available at Juyongguan Great Wall.

Tonight stay at Juyongguan Hotel by the wall. This star-rated courtyard hotel is located in the inner city of the Juyongguan Pass - one of the most spectacular Great Wall passes in China. Dinner will be arranged at the restaurant of Juyingguan Hotel.

Day 02
Juyongguan Huanghuacheng
Huanghuacheng Walking along the reservoir for 1-2 hours enjoying the fantastic view of the Huanghuacheng Great Wall built in Ming Dynasty ( 1368-1644 ). This section of the Great Wall at Huanghuacheng is not officially opened to the public. People have to walk around and see the Great Wall at a distance.

Check-in at Huanghuacheng Fuwang Courtyard Farmhouse. This inn is just located below the Great Wall at Huanghuacheng at Jintang Lake. Please have a low expectation from the inn. Dinner at the inn.

Then drive 35 km along the mountain road and get to the Mutianyu Great Wall . After lunch, hike the Mutianyu Great Wall for about 2 hours. The Mutianyu Great Wall is also one of most beautiful sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. It has an extremely beautiful natural landscape once you are up on the wall, green, densely wooded.

After visiting Mutianyu Great Wall, come back to your downtown hotel in Beijing around 4:00pm.

1. Badaling Great Wall
The Badaling Great Wall is the well preserved Ming Dynasty Great Wall with original appearance. Now it is divided into two sections - east and west starting at the Badaling Pass and Gate. Most people prefer to climb the east section where the highest watch tower is located.
Some tourists don't choose the Badaling Great Wall. They think Badaling Great Wall is too touristy! "Touristy" is now a bad word for any tour destination. But why is it too touristy? It is "too touristy" because Badaling Great Wall is one of the most gorgeous of all the sections of the Great Wall around Beijing.
Given your limited travel time on Badaling Great Wall, you may take a cable car to the Wall and walk down. Cable car is available and optional ( pay on your own).

2. Juyongguan Pass Great Wall
The Juyongguan Pass Great Wall is sectioned into two semicircles - east and west. Most people prefer hiking on its west semicircle for its steepness and beautiful view. Each semicircle takes about 2-hour hike. We arrange a comfortable hotel located below the Juyongguan Great Wall. It is a star-rated courtyard hotel, offering a good view of the Great Wall.

3. Huanghuacheng Great Wall
Huanghuacheng Great Wall is one of the most ruined sections of the Wall around Beijing. Now it is a quite challenge to climb the wall since it is wild, overgrown, and unrestored. Actually this section of the Wall is not officially open to the public.
There are two starting points to hike or see Huanghuacheng Great Wall - Huanghuacheng Reservoir and Jintang Lake which both cut through the Wall. The reservoir is called Huanghuacheng Reservoir with some parts of the Huanghuacheng Great Wall submerged under it, hence the nickname of Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall for this section. You will be arranged to walk around the reservoir to see the submerged great wall.
Fuwang Farmhouse where you stay is just located below Huanghuacheng Great Wall at Jintang Lake. No Cable car at Huanghuacheng.

4. Mutianyu Great Wall
Mutianyu Great Wall has an extremely beautiful natural landscape once you are up on the wall, green, densely wooded. This section of the Great Wall is comparatively smoother than most of other sections.
There are 23 towers on the Mutianyu Great Wall snaking the ridge for about 3000 meters. The watch towers at the Mutianyu Great Wall are distributed at short intervals. The 23 watch towers are numbered from right to left ( from east to west). The 23rd tower is highest point of the Mutianyu Great Wall.
