Transportation: Air-Wutaishan Airport began construction in 2010, which services 8 domestic airlines to Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming, Sanya, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Changsha, and Urumchi. The completion is to 2020 by estimate.
Railway- Xinzhou Railway Station is the largest and the most modern station in Xinzhou at present. Beitongpu Railway and Jingyuan Railway pass through the city.
Highway- Xinzhou is in the middle section of Natinal Road 108.

Attraction: Located in Wutai Country of Shanxi Province, Wutai Mountain has the longest and most prestigious history in the four well-known Buddhist Mountains. The five plateform-shaped peaks, the East, West, South, North and Central platforms formed Wutai Mountain.
On June 26, 2009, Wutai Mountain (Five Terrace Mountain) was added to UNESCO's World Heritage List during the 33rd session of the World Heritage Committee in Seville, Spain. UNESCO commented Mt. Wutai was a sacred Buddhist mountain.
Wutai Mountain is a famous scenic spot under national protection. It is famous for its Tibet-like bright blue sky and the breath taking natural beauty -- beautiful surroundings, with trees covering ancient temples and monasteries. The buildings look exceptionally impressive, and the stone carvings are of superb craftsmanship. The painted sculptures are of various shapes and types and no two sculptures are of the same kind.
