History: Ganzhou involves a long standing history of about 5,000 years, which could be proofed by the stoneware unearthed in Shinianshan Ancient Relic in the northeastern urban of Xinyu.
Since the establishment of Xinyu County in 267 in the Three Kingdom Period, the administrative policy had undergone several moderations.
